Just one word. Sometimes that's all we need to move into a state of peaceful bliss.
This morning I received a call from my dear friend, Lynn-Paige. I just love her. We met a few years ago when she became my business mentor through a professional organization. She was then, and continues to be, a gift from heaven. She called to let me know that I am important to her, that she values our friendship and she just wanted me to know. She went on to share some things that were happening in her life, and offered to introduce me to a friend of hers. When she called, I was watching the Today Show, specifically Suzie Orman telling us that the sky was falling. As you can imagine, I wasn't feeling particularly peaceful or blissful. But just the connection -- the energetic connection -- with someone I care deeply about and who feels the same about me, was enough to help me reconnect with what's really important. Her act of love helped me remember that reality that never leaves us, that we are -- love.
Words are powerful. We help to create our reality through our words. And often, we affect the reality of others through our words. What do you want to create? What do you want to experience? What kind of influence do you want to be with others? How are you using your words?
To be an agent of love, it is essential to become aware and responsible for our words. To monitor ourselves and intervene when necessary to change our words to speak from a place of love and forgiveness.
During this next week of Thanksgiving, I am going to make an extra effort to be aware of my words and endeavor to speak only words of love. You?
Love,
Andrea
